Who would be a better cruise line to take to Alaska, Royal Caribbean or Princess Cruises?

caribbean cruises

My Grandmother, Sister and I are going to Alaska and I am wanting to know who would be a better cruise line to take. My Grandmother has taken a cruise to Australia with Princess Cruises, and she loved the service and food. So we are considering going with them, but the also have alot of older people there, and they aren’t as kid friendly as Royal Caribbean is. Does Royal Caribbean have good food and service like Princess. Also I love Photography and Videography, so if any of you have tips or ideas of places to see or do, Please let me know

Princess is a better option than Royal Caribbean. They have one of the most extensive itineraries to Alaska.

If you love Photography&Videography take Princess 11 day cruisetour. It will amaze you and you will have pictures and tape to prove it. Princess goes all out. Also MUCH BETTER PRICE.Look up either 7n or 7s on princess. They have things for people of all ages.

You will enjoy the princess Cruise. It is meat for all age groups with lots of activities on board for all age groups. The food and the service is great, excellent. We just got back from the Caribbean and I loved it. It was the most fun and relaxing vacation my wife and I have ever taken.
My understanding is that Royal Caribbean is geared to an older crowd.

Princess Cruise Lines invented cruises to Alaska during the Seattle Worlds Fair over 40 years ago. They are the innovators and they are the best in this market.
As a past guest with Princess your grandmother will likely qualify for past guest discounts.
In the caribbean markets, many of the people will travel on rccl or pcl interchangeably. I book just as many people young and old on both cruise lines. Great food, fun, service. They are kid friendly. Ships like the Diamond, Sapphire, Grand Princess are awesome for kids!!

I worked in Alaskan tourism for years and the favorite (by far) was Princess. The only complaint I ever heard about them was that they didn’t serve Dr. Pepper!
